Connect BulkSMSDhaka for order SMS

What it is#

BulkSMSDhaka (bulksmsdhaka.com) is a Bangladesh bulk SMS service. After you connect it, Jukto sends your order texts through your own BulkSMSDhaka account and balance.

What you need#

• A BulkSMSDhaka account with some balance.
• Your API key.
• A Caller ID: leave 1234 for non-masking, or use a masking name the provider approved (masking needs Bangla messages).

Where to find your keys#

   Sign in to BulkSMSDhaka

   Open your BulkSMSDhaka panel and find your API key.

   Copy the API key

   Copy it. You paste it into the API key field in Jukto.

   Choose the Caller ID

   Leave Caller ID (sender) as 1234 for non-masking, or enter your approved masking name.

   Check the allowed addresses

   In the panel, look for the list of allowed IP addresses and add the Jukto server address there, if the panel checks it.

What Jukto does#

• Your key is stored encrypted for this website only. After saving, only the last four characters are shown.
• Test connection reads your BulkSMSDhaka balance. It sends no text.
• Jukto writes the number in the local form (01XXXXXXXXX) that BulkSMSDhaka wants. The Caller ID is saved as a setting.
• When it is on, every order event you switched on sends one text to the buyer's mobile number. Numbers written as 01..., +8801... or 8801... are accepted; anything else is not sent.
• The text is paid from your own BulkSMSDhaka balance.
• Demo orders, POS orders and imported orders never send a text.
• Each text appears in the SMS list on the order page as Waiting, Sent or Failed, with a Resend button. The log keeps only the last four digits of the number and the length of the text, never the text itself.
• If the gateway says a second try may work (it could not be reached, or it had a problem on its side), Jukto tries again, up to three times in all.

Test and turn on#

   Open the provider page

   Go to Tools, open Integrations, choose SMS, then BulkSMSDhaka and press Set up (it says Manage once you have started).

   Fill in the fields and save

   Paste each value into the field with the same name, then press Save. A secret value is stored encrypted, and afterwards only its last four characters are shown.

   Test the connection

   Press Test connection. Jukto asks BulkSMSDhaka whether the saved values work and shows whether it worked and, if not, what BulkSMSDhaka answered. The test uses the saved values, so save first.

   Choose the order texts

   In Order SMS on the same page pick the language of the texts, switch each event on or off, edit the wording if you like and press Save. See SMS gateways for the events and the words you can insert.

   Turn on

   Press Turn on. Until then your website does not use it. Turn off stops it again and your saved values stay.

6. 6

   Send a test SMS to yourself

   Press Send a test SMS to my number. The text goes to the mobile number of the owner. You can send up to 5 a day, and it appears in the activity log below once it is sent.
