Move from another platform: import and export

Bring your products, customers and past orders from WooCommerce or Shopify, or take your data out as files. What comes over, what does not, the limits and the steps.

If you already sell on WooCommerce or Shopify, you do not have to type everything again. Jukto reads your old store directly with a key you make there, shows you a summary, and only then saves anything. You find it in Tools > Integrations > Move from another platform. Importing only reads from your old store; it never changes anything there.

What comes over#

You can importHow it arrives
ProductsWith variants, prices, stock and the main picture of each product and variant. They arrive as drafts: check them, then publish.
CustomersCustomers who have a Bangladesh mobile number, because the number is how a customer is told apart. Others are counted and left out.
Order historyPast orders as history only. You see them in Orders and on the customer, but they change no stock, send no message and are not counted in your sales figures.

Products, customers and order history are the three things the import reads. Anything else in your old store, such as its pages or settings, you set up again in Jukto.

  • Safe to repeat. Running an import again does not create copies: products are matched by handle or SKU, customers by mobile number and orders by their platform order number.
  • Orders from a date. You can import only orders placed on or after a date you choose.

Limits#

LimitWhat happens
Up to 5,000 rows in one importThe first part is read. For more orders, run it again with the date of the last imported order.
Pictures: up to 300 per import, 5 MB each, 150 MB in allA picture that cannot be downloaded is skipped; that product arrives without a picture.
Your plan's product limitIf the import would go over it, it stops and says so.
Imports per hourToo many imports in the last hour are refused. Try again later.
Website and online store onImports work while the website and its online store are on.

Only the owner, or staff with the Integrations permission and the matching create permission, can run an import.

Files and taking your data out#

  • Without keys: you can import products from a file with a template you choose. See Import products from a file.
  • Export for another platform: on the WooCommerce and Shopify pages, Export for ... downloads your Products (CSV) or Customers (CSV) in the format that platform imports, with no template needed. Cost price is included for the owner only, and customer notes are never exported. Too many exports in an hour are refused.
