Structured data for products and your shop

Jukto adds structured data (schema.org) to your pages so Google can show price, stock and ratings. What is added, where, and how to check it.

What it is#

Structured data is a hidden block of facts on a page that tells Google exactly what it shows: this is a product, it costs this much, it is in stock, it has these reviews. Google can use it to show richer results. Jukto writes it for you from the facts in your products and settings. There is nothing to turn on.

What you need#

  • Nothing to set up.
  • Good product facts: a name, a price, a description and pictures. What you leave empty is left out, never invented.

Where to find your keys#

There are no keys. To see the data, use a free checker.

  1. 1

    Open a checker

Open Google's Rich Results Test at https://search.google.com/test/rich-results, or use Rich results in the address inspection of Google Search Console.

  2. 2

    Enter a page address

Enter the address of one of your live product pages and run the test.

  3. 3

    Read the result

You should see a Product with its price, availability and pictures.

What Jukto does#

PageWhat is written
A product pageProduct: name, description (first 500 characters), pictures, SKU, brand, price in BDT and whether it is in stock. Condition (new, refurbished, used) only when you state it. A rating and up to 10 reviews, only from approved reviews.
Your home pageOrganization (name, logo, description) and WebSite, with a search box description when your store has search. A LocalBusiness block when your business profile has an address.
A collection pageA list of the products shown on it.
  • Nothing is guessed. A product with no price has no price in its data; a product with no reviews has no rating.
  • The data is added only on your live pages.

Test and turn on#

  1. 1

    Run the checker

Test one live product page in the Rich Results Test or in the Search Console inspection.

  2. 2

    Compare with your product

The name, price and stock status in the result should match what your product page shows.

  3. 3

    Nothing to turn on

Structured data is always on. To improve it, improve the product facts: price, description, pictures and approved reviews.
