Steadfast: book parcels from your orders

Steadfast has the simplest connection of all couriers: two keys, and you are ready to book.

What it is#

Steadfast Courier delivers parcels across Bangladesh and collects cash on delivery. With the connection on, you book a parcel from an order in one click and follow its status on the order. It suits shops that want a quick start and ship mostly with cash on delivery.

Where to find your keys#

   Open the API settings in your Steadfast panel

   Sign in to your Steadfast merchant panel and open Settings, then API, the place where API keys are made.

   Copy the two keys

   Copy the API key and the Secret key. If the panel shows no keys, ask Steadfast support to issue them.

   Keep the portal address

   Keep Portal address on the default unless Steadfast told you to use the other address.

   Optional: prepare the webhook

   For automatic status updates choose any long text as the Webhook token in Jukto. You will use the same text in the Steadfast panel in the next section.

What Jukto does#

• Keys. Saved encrypted for this website only. They are used only by your own website.
• Booking. From the order's Courier card Jukto creates a consignment with your invoice number, the buyer's name, phone (11 digits, 01XXXXXXXXX) and address, and the cash to collect (0 for a paid order). Steadfast returns a consignment and a tracking code, which Jukto saves on the order.
• Status. Jukto reads the status from Steadfast every 15 minutes for open parcels, and at once when you press Check status now. With the webhook set, Steadfast also tells Jukto when the status changes.
• Webhook. In your Steadfast panel open Settings > API > Webhook. Paste the Webhook address from the Steadfast provider page as the callback URL, and use the same text as the Webhook token for Authorization: Bearer. Jukto rejects calls without the token. The address carries a secret code; Make a new address replaces it and the old one stops working at once.
• No price and no cancel. Steadfast gives no price before booking, so the card says the charge appears after booking. Jukto has no cancel call for Steadfast: cancelling in Jukto only closes the booking here, so cancel the parcel in the Steadfast panel as well.

Test and turn on#

   Open the provider

   Go to Dashboard > Tools > Integrations, open the Couriers group and choose Steadfast.

   Fill the fields

   Fill API key and Secret key, keep Portal address, add a Webhook token if you want status updates, then press Save.

   Press Test connection

   Jukto asks Steadfast for your balance. When the keys are right you see "Connected to Steadfast. Balance: Tk" followed by your balance.

   Press Turn on

   Steadfast has no Sandbox, so turning on makes it live.

5. 5

   Book one parcel

   Open a confirmed order, find the Courier card, choose Steadfast and book. Cancel the test parcel in the Steadfast panel before pickup.
