Import from WooCommerce or Shopify
Move products, customers and past orders from your old store, straight through its API or with a CSV export, and check a summary before anything is saved.
If your shop already runs on WooCommerce or Shopify, you can bring its products, customers and past orders into Jukto. You can do it two ways: straight from your store with its keys (the API), or with a CSV file.
Choose a way#
| Way | Good for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Straight from your store (API) | Products with variants, customers and order history in one go | Tools > Integrations > Move from another platform |
| CSV file | Products only, when you do not want to share keys | Import products from a file with a Shopify or WooCommerce template |
Import through the API#
- 1
Get your keys
For WooCommerce, open Settings > Advanced > REST API in WooCommerce, add a key with Read access, and copy the consumer key and secret. The site address must start with https://. For Shopify, you need an Admin API access token from an app installed on your store, with read_products, read_customers and read_orders (older orders also need read_all_orders). Shopify no longer lets you create a custom app in the store admin, and Jukto does not provide its own Shopify app.
- 2
Connect and test
Open Tools > Integrations, group Move from another platform, choose WooCommerce or Shopify. Enter the site address (or shop domain such as my-shop.myshopify.com) and the keys, then Save and Test connection.
- 3
Choose what to import
Under What do you want to import? tick Products, Customers and/or Order history. For orders you can set Only orders placed on or after this date (optional).
- 4
Check what will be imported
Press Check what will be imported. Jukto reads your store and shows a summary: new products, products updated, customers with a mobile number, orders and pictures found. Nothing is saved yet.
- 5
Import now
If the summary looks right, press Import now. When it finishes you see Import finished.
What comes in, and how#
- Products: with variants, prices, stock and the main picture of each product and variant. They arrive as drafts: check them, then publish.
- Customers: only those with a Bangladesh mobile number (the number tells customers apart). Others are counted and left out.
- Order history: as history. You see the orders in Orders and on the customer, but they change no stock, send no message and are not counted in your sales figures.
- A cost price is imported only for the owner.
- One import takes up to 5,000 rows. For more orders, run it again with the date of the last imported order.
- Nothing changes in your old store. You can run an import again later.

The same screen can also export your products and customers as CSV in the format Shopify or WooCommerce imports, with no template needed.
Common problems#
"The platform refused your key or token"
Check the key, make sure it is the right store, and test the connection again. WooCommerce needs Read access.
"The key or token is missing a permission"
Shopify needs read_products, read_customers and read_orders. Older orders also need read_all_orders.
The address is refused
It must be a public https address that can be reached. If it redirects, use the final address.
Some customers are missing
Only customers with a Bangladesh mobile number are imported.
