Tools and your menu

Switch features on or off in Tools, understand tool slots, and arrange the dashboard menu the way you work.

Jukto keeps your dashboard simple. Features you may not need are tools: you switch on the ones you want, and the rest stay out of the way. Then you arrange the menu so the things you use every day are one tap away.

Switch tools on and off#

Open Tools. The page has two tabs, Tools and Integrations (for connecting services such as payment gateways and couriers).

  1. 1

    Find the tool

Tools are grouped: Recommended for every store, Product, Store design and Advanced business. Use the group chips or the search box.

  2. 2

    Read the guide

Each card has a short guide, and some have a video. It tells you what the tool does and where it appears.

  3. 3

    Flip the switch

A tool that is off shows an offer to turn it on, from the card or from the screen itself ("Turn on ..."). Turning a tool off hides it; anything you made before stays and keeps working in your store.

What is on for a new website#

Off at the startOn at the start
Recently viewed, Automatic discounts, Accounting (and its parts, including Inventory), Floating cart, Back-in-stock alerts, POS, Staff, Landing pagesCategories, Brands, Attributes and variants, Size guides and pins, Product labels, Product reviews, Product questions, Wishlist, Coupons, Floating contact button, Phone bottom menu, Sticky buy bar, Quick view, Specifications, Frequently bought together, Cost of goods

You can change any of them at any time. Websites created earlier keep the switches they already had.

Tool slots#

Some tools use a slot of your plan. The top of the Tools page shows "N of M slots", and each card says Uses 1 slot or No slot needed. When all slots are used, switch another tool off first, or add slots in Billing. Landing pages use 1 slot for every 3 pages.

Arrange your menu#

Open Settings > Menu & quick actions (the page title is "Navigation & quick actions").

  • Dashboard sidebar: rename, reorder and hide items. Every tool that is on has its own entry: choose which menu it sits in (for example Products, Marketing or Customers), or put it in the main menu on its own.
  • Settings menu: rename, reorder and hide the sections of Settings. Business profile and this page always stay, so you can always come back.
  • Quick action menu: the + Quick action button in the top bar opens a short list you choose, for example New product or New order. It is saved in this browser only.
  • Reset dashboard menu puts the sidebar and the Settings menu back to the default for everyone in the store. Tools stay on or off as they are.

Overview and Settings are always shown. Marketing is shown while a tool that is on sits in it. The sidebar and the Settings menu are the same for everyone in the store; only the owner, or staff who may edit settings, can change them.

Common problems#

I switched a tool on but cannot find it

Look in the menu you chose for it, or open Settings > Menu & quick actions and check the "Off in Tools" and "Hidden" lists.

The switch will not turn on

Your slots may be full. The page says so. Switch another tool off, or add slots in Billing.

A staff member cannot see a tool

The tool must be on, and the staff member needs the permission for it. See the staff guides.
