Terms of Service

Last updated: · Version 2026.10.2

In short

  • Jukto is in beta. Features may change, and some may be unavailable at times.
  • Each website is reviewed before it goes live, and has its own plan and bill.
  • You own your content. You are responsible for your products, orders, delivery and refunds to your own customers.
  • Plan limits, billing and cancellation work as described here and in your dashboard.
  • We can pause or close a website that breaks these terms.

1. Agreeing to these terms

By creating an account or using Jukto you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you use Jukto for a business, you confirm that you can bind that business. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

These terms are between you and Jukto. A person who buys from a store built on Jukto buys from the merchant, not from Jukto (see the section on buyers).

2. The service and beta status

Jukto is a platform for building and running websites. Jukto Store is its online-store part, with products, orders, delivery, payments, point of sale, staff and accounting tools.

The service is in beta. Features may change, be added, be limited or be removed, and the service may be unavailable at times while we improve it. Some features depend on outside providers (gateways, couriers, SMS and so on), and we do not control them.

3. Accounts and eligibility

  • You need a mobile number that you can receive a code on, and you must give true information.
  • You must be old enough to make a binding contract under the laws of Bangladesh, or act for a business that can.
  • Keep your password and your devices safe. You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what your staff do.
  • Each account must be verified with an identity document. The time allowed is shown in your dashboard. If verification is not approved in time, your websites are paused (not erased) until it is approved.

4. Website approval and going live

A new website is an application. Until the Jukto team approves it, it is not public and takes no real orders, but you can build and prepare it.

We may approve or reject a website, for example if it breaks the acceptable-use rules below. Approval issues the first invoice of the plan you chose, or starts the Free plan at once, as described next.

5. Plans and limits

Each website has its own plan and subscription. The current plans, prices and limits are shown on the pricing section of jukto.site and in your dashboard.

There is no free trial. A paid plan is billed from the start, and the first payment of your account has a money-back guarantee: 7 days on a monthly plan, 30 days on a yearly plan (see the Refund Policy). A paid website opens to buyers once its first invoice is paid. The Free plan costs nothing.

A plan sets limits, for example on products, product variants, staff, storage, pages and tool slots. You cannot add more of these than the plan allows. Orders and visitor sessions above the plan’s allowance are not stopped at checkout; they are added to your bill as usage.

A plan upgrade starts at once and you pay the price difference for the rest of the term. A downgrade or a change between monthly and yearly takes effect at renewal.

6. Billing and payment

Charges are in Bangladeshi taka and appear on an invoice in your dashboard. The total on an invoice is what you pay.

You pay by bKash or Nagad to the numbers shown on the invoice, and then enter the sender number and transaction ID. The Jukto team checks the payment and approves or rejects it.

A renewal invoice is issued at the end of each term, with a reminder before. If an invoice is not paid on time you have a 5-day grace period. After that the website goes into maintenance: the storefront closes to buyers and the dashboard is limited to billing and support until every outstanding invoice is paid.

A one-time service fee may be added to the first paid invoice of an account. The invoice shows it before you pay.

If a term ends without renewal, the website’s storefront closes and nothing is erased. Choosing a plan and paying opens it again.

7. Cancelling

The account owner can cancel a website at once or at the end of the paid term. Every open invoice must be settled first.

When the cancellation takes effect, paid add-ons stop and the website closes. You can download a full archive for 10 days. The data is kept for at least 30 days, and after that a Jukto administrator may delete it after review. Until deletion starts you can come back by choosing a plan and paying.

Cancelling does not by itself return money for unused time. The only refund rule is in the Refund Policy.

8. Your content and your responsibilities

You own what you put on your website. You give Jukto permission to store, copy, display and process it only as needed to run the service for you.

You are responsible for your products and prices, your orders, delivery, returns and refunds to your customers, your own policy pages, and for following the laws that apply to your business. You must have the right to use the pictures, text and data you upload.

You are responsible for your customers’ data, including when you connect an outside service. See the Privacy Policy.

9. Acceptable use

Do not use Jukto to:

  • sell or promote anything illegal, counterfeit or harmful;
  • cheat buyers, or take money without delivering what you promised;
  • upload content that infringes someone’s rights or is abusive or unlawful;
  • send spam, spread malware or try to reach data or accounts that are not yours;
  • avoid plan limits, overload the service or test it against other people’s websites.

We may remove content, pause a website or close an account that breaks these rules.

10. Buyers on a Jukto website

When someone buys from a store built on Jukto, the sale is between the buyer and the merchant. Jukto is not a party to it, does not hold the buyer’s card details, and is not responsible for the products, delivery, returns or refunds. Online payments go through the gateway the merchant chooses.

11. Outside services

Gateways, couriers, SMS and email services, ads tools and other providers are run by other companies under their own terms. A merchant who connects one is responsible for that account. We are not responsible for an outside provider’s service.

12. Your data, export and backups

You can export products and orders from the dashboard. We make automatic backups to recover the platform and your website, but a backup is not a promise of recovery, so keep your own copies of what matters to you.

What happens to data after a cancellation or deletion is described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Jukto running but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free. We may change or stop a feature, and we will try to tell you in the dashboard about important changes.

14. Suspension and ending

We may suspend or close a website or an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk or is used for fraud. A policy suspension locks the website fully; contact support to appeal.

A website can also be paused for a missed verification, or put into maintenance for an unpaid bill, as described above. You can stop using Jukto and cancel at any time.

15. Limits of our responsibility

The service is provided “as is” while it is in beta. To the extent the law allows, Jukto is not responsible for indirect losses, lost profit or lost sales, or for losses caused by outside providers, and our total responsibility for a claim is limited to the fees you paid Jukto for the affected website.

Nothing here removes a right that the law does not allow to be removed.

16. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date and version at the top show the latest one. For a material change we will tell account owners in the dashboard. Using Jukto after a change means you accept it.

17. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh. If you have a problem, contact support first so we can try to settle it.
