Commission and levels
Give each staff member a fixed or percent commission per sale, pay what is owed through a request, and define levels you promote people into.
Commission and levels live in the Staff menu as Commission and Levels.
Commission#
Set what each staff member earns per sale. Delivery charges never count.
- 1
Open Staff > Commission
The table shows each person's Rule now, Sales, Accrued, Reversed, Net and Unpaid for the chosen Month.
- 2
Press Edit rule on a person
Choose None, Fixed per sale or Percent of the sale, and enter the amount or percent (0.01 to 100).
- 3
Set Starts on
The rule applies to sales from that day on. Earlier sales keep the rule they had, and Earlier rules lists the history. The rule cannot start in the past.
- 4
Press Save rule
Commission is recorded as it is earned. A return reverses the commission of that sale, so Net is accrued minus reversed.
Paying commission#
Press Pay commission on a row. It opens Requests, where the person's payout request is approved and paid. A staff member can also press Ask for my commission on their own My commission page. See Money requests and approvals.
Levels#
Define levels such as Junior, and what a member needs for the next one. The system only shows who is eligible; you decide every promotion.
| Level setting | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Job title, Name (English), Name (Bangla) | How the level is called |
| Suggested salary (taka) | A suggestion you may apply on promotion |
| Commission suggestion | None, fixed per sale or percent |
| Permission template | Cashier, Packer, Manager or Custom (empty) |
Eligibility rules (leave a rule empty to skip it; a level with no rules is never shown as eligible):
- Months with the store
- Sales made (last 12 months)
- Sales value in taka (last 12 months)
- Tasks done
- Attendance % (last 90 days)
- 1
Open Staff > Levels and press Add level
Fill the settings and rules.
- 2
See who is Eligible or Not yet
The Members table shows each person's current and next level, with the rule results (Met or Not met, Now against Needed).
- 3
Press Promote
Choose the level and an optional note. You can promote someone who does not meet every rule.
- 4
Choose what to apply
Applying the permission template, the commission rule or the suggested salary are separate steps; nothing is applied by itself.
