The Jukto Android app
What the Jukto app for Android does for owners and staff: today's figures, orders, products, customers and a point of sale in your pocket, and what stays on the website.
The Jukto app is an Android app for shop owners and staff. It talks to the same account as the dashboard, so what you do on your phone is what you see on the website. It is made for the daily jobs: look at today, confirm and send orders, change a price or stock, serve a customer at the counter.
Before you start#
- An Android phone.
- Your account: the owner signs in with the mobile number and password of the dashboard. Staff sign in with the Store ID, Employee ID and password the owner gave them.
- Get the app only from a link that Jukto gives you, for example from jukto.site or from support. Do not install it from other websites.
- No Android phone? The dashboard works in your phone's browser: Use the dashboard on your phone.

Choose owner or staff
The first time, three short slides explain the app. Then sign in as Owner login (mobile number and password) or Staff login (Store ID, Employee ID and password).

Confirm a new phone
A phone that is new to your account asks once for a 6-digit code sent by SMS. After that this phone is remembered.

Choose a website
If your account has more than one website you pick the website to work on, and you can switch later from More > Switch website.
What is in the app#

The app is in Bangla by default with an English switch, and has a light and a dark look. A banner tells you when there is no internet: you see what you saw last, and changes are not saved until you are online again.
Point of sale on your phone#
Open More > Point of sale. Scan a barcode or search a product to add it, choose how the customer paid (Cash, bKash, Nagad or Other), enter the cash given to see the change, and press Complete sale. Then print the receipt or share it as a PDF. Demo products cannot be sold at the counter.
A cashier who signs in as a register session sees only the point of sale.

More > Barcode labels lets you choose products, set the copies and print the labels or share the PDF.

Common problems#
"Your session ended. Please sign in again."
The app signs you out when the server says the session is over. Sign in again. If you signed out on another device, that can also end a session.
"Already signed in on 2 devices"
A staff sign-in works on two devices. Sign out on one of them first.
"This tool is switched off. Turn it on from the website."
A part such as POS or Accounting is off for this website. Switch it on in Tools on the website.
Home shows fewer figures than I expected
Some figures need the online store and a permission. Figures you cannot see are hidden.
