Use the dashboard on your phone

Run your shop from your phone's browser: sign in, find the menu, add a shortcut to your home screen, and know which jobs are better on a computer.

You do not need a computer for most daily jobs. The Jukto dashboard is built to work on a phone: orders, products, customers and the point of sale all fit a small screen. This guide shows how to use it comfortably in your browser. It works on any phone with a modern browser, Android or iPhone.

Before you start#

  • A phone with an up-to-date browser and an internet connection.
  • Your sign-in: mobile number and password (staff: Store ID, employee ID and password).
  • Dashboard address: the one you use on your computer. Open it in the browser, not inside another app's mini browser, so it stays signed in.

Sign in and find your way#

  1. 1

A phone or computer that is new to your account needs a 6-digit code sent to your mobile before it can sign in. Enter it once.

  2. 2

    Open the menu

On a small screen the sidebar is hidden. Press Open menu (the menu button at the top) to open it, and Close menu to close it. Overview, Products, Orders, Customers and the rest are in it.

  3. 3

    Use Quick action

The + Quick action button in the top bar jumps to jobs such as New product or New order. You choose what it lists in Settings > Menu & quick actions.

  4. 4

    Switch website or language

If you have more than one website, switch from the website switcher at the top. Pick English or Bangla in the dashboard.

Add a shortcut to your home screen#

Your browser can place a shortcut to the dashboard on your phone's home screen, so one tap opens it. In Chrome on Android open the browser menu and choose Add to Home screen. In Safari on iPhone use the share button and choose Add to Home Screen. This is a shortcut, not a separate app, and it works like the browser tab.

What works well on a phone#

What is better on a computer or tablet#

  • The page builder and the theme editor. The theme editor needs a screen at least 1024 px wide.
  • Long tables, reports and CSV import or export.
  • Setting up integrations, domains and DNS records, where you copy long values between two windows.

Comfortable use#

  • The dashboard follows your phone's light or dark setting, which is easier on the eyes at night.
  • Turn your phone sideways for wide tables.
  • On a slow connection, wait for a page to finish loading before you press a button twice.
  • Log out when you use a phone that is not yours, using Log out.

Common problems#

I keep being signed out

Browsers can clear cookies, and some private or data-saver modes block them. Use a normal browser window. A session also ends when you sign out on another device.

The page looks cramped

Turn the phone sideways, or zoom out a little. Wide editors such as the builder are made for bigger screens.

I did not get the code by SMS

Wait a minute and press Send a new code. Check your phone has signal and the number is the one you signed up with.
